As well as portraits of famous Icon's of the 20th and 21st Century, I've painted Historical figures too, for clients, figures who still have many fans in todays society.  Celebrities of the past, people who really had followers in their own time, Play Writes, Musicians, Composers and Poets had the same Celebrity status that Rock Stars & Actors have now, but without the input of Television and the Internet, they were painted and gossiped about in books and news papers and probably sold more copies than today.  These are the Stars who were loved/loathed in similar style as our celebs, only they were even more interesting.
